It publishes both theoretical and experimental high-quality papers of permanent interest, not previously published in journals, in the field of engineering and science, This conference features the addition of topics related to petroleum engineering techniques, including extraction, drilling, and refining.

The Samawah Technical Institute is one of the formations of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, which was established in 1989. Throughout its academic career, thousands of intermediate cadres have graduated from it, providing the manufacturing sector with professional and technical expertise in technological, medical and administrative specializations. The series of innovations continues until this year, as studies were opened in the oil departments and two technical branches. This conference is considered the fourth edition of the Samawah International Technical Institute series of conferences, which it has been holding periodically since 2018 until this year.
